Painter living in Faro, Portugal. Her work captures the luminous essence of the Algarve — the interplay of sun, color, and shadow — through clear forms and strong contrasts. In her recent series, she turns toward human figures and faces, often seen in everyday coastal scenes: people by the sea, quiet gestures, fleeting expressions in the southern light. Each painting seeks the balance between structure and emotion, between what is seen and what is felt.

Born 1972 in Warsaw, Poland, she graduated with an MA in Visual Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Ostrowska worked for many years as an illustrator and graphic designer in Cologne, Germany, before fully dedicating herself to painting.

Since 2025 she has established her artistic practice in Faro, exploring both the landscape and the human presence within it.
