In 2003, he enrolled at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Santa Isabel de Hungría, in Seville. In 2006, he received an Erasmus Drawing Scholarship, which he completed at the Pietro Vannucci Art Foundation in Perugia, Italy. He graduated in 2008 with a degree in Painting from the University of Seville.
With the aim of continuing his education and gaining experience, he participated in 2010 in the Francisco de Goya Chair at Caja Ávila, taught by Antonio López García. That same year, he was selected by the Antonio Gala Foundation to be part of its ninth class, where he developed his project Costumbrismo Andaluz; a reinterpretation of Andalusian culture through traditional costumbrist painting.
After his time at the Antonio Gala Foundation, he continued attending painting workshops and courses led by international masters such as Golucho, Juan F. Lacomba, and Andrés García Ibañez.
Currently, he is pursuing his artistic research freely, engaging in various projects. His painting has been recognized with numerous awards and distinctions, including the Prize at the LVIII Andalusian Painting Competition “Villa de
Ubrique” (2023), Timoteo Pérez Rubio Prize, Oliva de la Frontera, Badajoz
(2020), José Arpa Prize, Carmona, Seville (2019), Paul Ricard Prize, Seville
(2018), Rafael Zabaleta Prize, Quesada, Jaén (2016), and the Ateneo de
Sevilla Prize (2010), among many others.
