Originally from La Felguera in northern Spain, Miguel Redondo now lives in Huelva in southern Spain where he finds artistic inspiration from the sun blessed landscapes and seascapes.
Miguel achieved a double major in art as a student and has been a professional independent artist throughout his career. He describes his approach to his work as a sensory experience, sculpting the paint, capturing light and using tubes, spatulas and paintbrushes to create abstract, poetic and exalted compositions.
Working only with acrylic paint, his art leads the viewer to the edge of reality, where emotion meets the perception of a dream.
